Xavier P. Hayden was born in Philadelphia. He grew up in the Philadelphia area. He attended Villanova University, and attained his Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1985, all the while maintaining full time employment. Mr. Hayden worked for the U.S. Navy upon graduation as a contract specialist. While working for the Navy, Mr. Hayden decided to go to law school. He attended the Temple University School of Law at night while continuing to work full time. He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1989.
After graduation, Mr. Hayden went to work as a prosecutor for the Montgomery County District Attorney. It was while a prosecutor that Mr. Hayden realized the satisfaction of representing victims who had nowhere else to turn for help. Mr. Hayden was promoted up through the ranks of the District Attorney's office to the position of head of the Major Crimes Unit. His team of trial lawyers was responsible for prosecuting the most violent and serious offenders.
Mr. Hayden left the District Attorney to represent individuals in the private sector. While he had the opportunity to go to a large firm and use his trial skills on behalf of large clients and corporations, he wanted the same contact with regular people he had come to enjoy in the District Attorney's office.
Mr. Hayden started his own firm to better represent individuals harmed by the negligence of others. Mr. Hayden's commitment to innocent victims of professional or corporate negligence is stronger than ever. In an environment that very often forgets the needs and rights of injured people, he sees his job as getting justice for his clients. He continues to practice in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, automobile accidents, and premises liability.
On a personal note, Mr. Hayden is married and has two children. His passions, aside from his family and law practice, are skiing, golf, and woodworking.
